The only crummy movie I can think of right now is one I saw a while back. The Ape Man with Bela Lugosi. He was really miscast in this one. About a guy that after drinking some weird chemical turns into a half ape. Completely ridiculous, heres this guy stumbling around with a half-hairy face stumbling around going uhhh grrr uhhh. It was bad, even for Lugosi. Ive seen him in some movies where he plays more serious parts, and he was quite a good actor. But the stagey stuff he was wasted on. Its too bad he didnt make more non-stagey parts, he was a real talent.

It wasnt exactly an ape suit, just a hairy face. There was a guy in an ape suit, it was fairly realistic but Lugosi was a clown.

I watched this epic last night, The Face in the Window. Dumb. It looked like it was made by high school kids. It was about a hunchback guy in a black cape who killed people by shooting them with poisoned ice cubes. The car chase with the vintage 1930's cars through Los Angeles was pretty cool, tho. Also the one part with these dancers was OK, this one guy threw these two girls around like wet noodles. Wish I could handle women as well as that. They usually throw me around like a wet noodle.

Movie 43. Utter GARBAGE.

I was so upset after I watched it that I'd continued to give it a chance as each minute passed.

Ive seen a few like that. Movies so bad you cant stand them, but you have to watch them to the end just to see how they turn out.

Some movies start out well and go down hill until their silly endings. This is where the money factor comes in. People often confuse quality of production with intrinsic value. An example is "I Am Legend" which starts off with an interesting premise, but then becomes a silly fright flick with the victims of the virus taking on super abilities that their human frames could not support. And then the ending; the Christian woman finds the lost colony of uninfected humans that God had told her still existed in Vermont. Oh pa . . .lease!

I watched some stupid thing last night called Nightcrawlers. I could take a video camera and make a better one. It was about these plastic eggplant with boobs looking things that came through cardboard basement walls and did all kinds of nasty stuff. The actors were lousy, the lead character looked like some nerdy Sonny Bono looking guy. The lead damsel in distress looked like a reject from the Russian Army. The spaceship at the ending looked like a picture painted on a wall, and was blown up by what looked like kid's sparklers. I give this one a hearty 27 stupids.
