What's your favorite TV show?

That was a great show. There was a medical show from that era we used to like, Medical Center or something like that with Chad Everett.

That was a good one. There were a lot of good westerns on back then. Death Valley Days, Rawhide, Bonanza. and many more.

So true! The Big Valley and The Rifleman are two of my favorites as well!

One I liked was Shotgun Slade. It was kind of different as the background music was modern jazz.

Just read somewhere there were only 39 episodes of The Honeymooners made. Jackie Gleason stopped it because he thought they had pretty much used up all the good ideas; there were no more good story lines left.

Studio one..............riveting dramas, many top Hollywood stars got their experience there as beginners.............I think Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward appeared on that show..

I remember those shows. Studio One, Kraft Theatre, Most were done live and sometimes you could see overhead mikes. people sneaking around in the background, stuff like that. Ive got some of those on video with E.G. Marshall, Yul Brynner, Charles Bronson and a lot of actors that became famous later.

That was my favorite, too. It came on Thursday nights, and one time our TV broke and my dad was PO'ed because we couldnt watch Dragnet. We went to my cousin's place to watch it, they had one of those old round screen TV's that you had to sit right in front of it to see anything but at least we got to watch Dragnet. Sometime later my cousin and his wife were watching wrestling, his wife didnt like the way it was going so she threw her shoe at the TV and broke it. Best thing that could have happened to it.
