What's your favorite TV show?

I loveL Lucy, but then years later my kids got hooked on the re-runs, and although I still loved her, NOT QUITE AS MUCH!...heee

YESSS! Russell and B.H., all those shows were a big part of our lives...DUM DU DUM DUM...I can hear the Dragnet opening theme in my head as if it were yesterday..

That was a great show. It was good on radio, too. Ive got all the radio programs from 1949 thru 1956, they are very entertaining except for the repetitive and boring Fatima and Chesterfield cigarette commercials. George Fenniman comes on a couple times and tells you how good they are for you. But other than that, those programs are classic. Some of the TV programs were filmed in such a way that they could be broadcast on radio.

I recently bought some old time radio CDs and got Dragnet thrown in as a bonus for my purchase. I have yet to listen to them yet though.

He was. I saw online a comment by a Los Angeles cop that if Joe Friday did the things now that they did back then, he would have the pants sued off of him and probably get fired. He also said that policemen nowdays dont worry about so much about catching bad guys as they do about getting sued.

History of the U.S. Navy seals ( PBS )

They had a series on the History Channel about that. Those guys really go through some rough training. More than half drop out.

There was a series on the History Channel a while back about these rich guys back in the early days. Rockerfeller, J.P. Morgan, Henry Ford and Andrew Carnegie and others. It was pretty interesting. Most of them came off as a bunch of a-holes but they made America the country what it is today, good or bad.
