Will all that candy get you pulled into the customs office?

Airheads. Nerds. Sweettarts (those giant chewy ones and the original ones). Skittles. Sour Skittles. Fun Dip. Warheads. Starbursts.
You listed Nerds but what about Gobstoppers and Runts?
All the other candy is crying now ya' know... 8)

Runts! I have always loved Runts. They give such diverse flavor as you eat each handful. I also really like Nerds, Sweettarts, Skittles, Starbursts, and Gobstoppers too. Maybe somebody needs to send me some too! :D All this talk about candy is making me think about driving to Wal-Mart for a candy run. 8)

Basically anything that is like a sweet/sour fruity flavor, I need it now! Spree! Those were good! Lemonheads! Yum yum.
I don't think customs cares about candy. It's not fresh food or something you can grow. No alcohol. It's all good. Brought back a ton of peppermints last year to give my students. And ROLOS! My only chocolate! My obsession! Yum yum yum.

Now and Laters!!! Or Now and Aters? My sister called them that and I didn't know if it was really the name of the candy or something she just made up. I am now sending my sister a candy list of things to stock up on while it is around for Halloween.

Chocolate. Always chocolate: probably Galaxy, but Cadbury is lovely too. I also like toffee, fudge and caramel. Wine Gums are very nommy and so are liquorice sweets (except Liquorice Allsorts -- they're disgusting). Jelly Babies are nice, but not my favourite. Skittles are nice, but I don't eat them very often. I have two packets of Parma Violets every week because they're just so addictive :)

Your English candies confuse and intrigue me at the same time.

Haha! We have an American candy store here in Newcastle ... do you not have an English version? :)

If I had to recommend one British sweet (you say "candy", we say "sweets" :)) then it would be Giant Parma Violets. They have a very original taste and smell -- quite indescribable, actually (for me, anyway). I'd definitely have a look for them :)

Actually, you probably have more English sweets than you think. Twix is British, I think. So is KitKat. Also, I think Dove is part of Galaxy which is also British :)
