I lost 10 kg in the last 12 months, using Myfitnesspal - a calorie counting site.

I'm at my goal weight now but I still use the site to keep me on the right track.

I am sort of on a diet... but not really. I have just changed the portions i eat, what i eat, and what i drink. I've cut out all carbonated beverages containing sugars, gone down to 1 cup of coffee a day, and i am eating smaller portions more often. Also drink lots of water and a little bit of exercise a day helps too!

I don't diet, actually sometimes I'm so busy I forget to eat. I'd like to improve the quality of what I eat sometimes though. Having a pack of cookies and coffee while driving to work isn't an optimal lunch. Between the dogs and work the weight stays pretty level.

Started Mosley's 5:2 (from the UK) last August. Have lost and kept off 32 pounds...back at my IBW (but still working to lose another 10-15 before I switch to 6:1. Love it. Best "Diet/Lifestyle change ever! And five out of seven days I eat what I want...including the occasional cupcake :)

Didja mean " SEAFOOD ?"...............heeeheheee, i'm on that one too!...seriously if i crave a dessert, and have a seafood meal as the entree, i won't gain an ounce...

conversely a steak dinner w/the same dessert will tip the scales THE WRONG WAY! ...go figure!

Haha no! I gave up seafood when I got married. My husband is deathly allergic. I have to really load on the calories all day everyday to even see a half a pound. I love peat though. Haha

I have the ever intention to diet but when I'm thinking of what food to cook, my ever intention flies out the window.

I'm curious what peat is too...

Something I'm really pleased with buying is a FitBit. I don't diet since my love of Ben and Jerry's n' Entenmanns dashes any diet to the ground. But the FitBit is just fun, every night I log into the site and we all cheer each other on.

I don't go on diets. I cant, I would fail during the first hour. I am not heavy, I'm actually a little underweight for my age. I just eat all the time. I love food, I would die if I didn't have something to eat. Not only do I eat, but I eat a lot of junk food. So I would not be able to limit myself to only a certain amount of junk food a day or if any at all. I would not make it!

Diet doesn't work well as the minute you say you're going to be on a diet, you crave everything you're not supposed to have and diets deprive you of stuff. You should go more with a "food plan" that is the way you want to eat and then work towards that goal. I do fitbit, which is an acceleratometer on the wrist for your exercise then if you want to watch what you eat, the website has food logs that you can use. The best part of fitbit is the social aspect as you can your successes and failures with your other fitbit friends.
