Opera and classical, primarily. I'm a huge fan of Wagner.

Other than that, it's a mixed bag. I despise most modern music. I like alot of 1920's and 30's era big band and jazz type stuff.

I like many genres , from rock and roll, progressive rock , metal, metal opera , country , jazz, blues , folk, rap, hip-hop, pop ,new age from classical and symphonic . I don't like trance at all .

Mostly anything and everything. I find myself going further and further away from the mainstream and listening to odd music like the Legendary Shack Shakers and music that, while not similar (I doubt anything could be) is in the same vein. But then I bounce back into the mainstream.

It comes in phases.

I would have to say that my all time favorite artist is Rachael Sage,
but I really like Tracy Chapman and Joan Osborne too.

I love my local music as I can understand it very clearly and can feel the pain or joy on it.

Basically I prefer slow and romantic tracks but when I am with my friends ... loud and fast is recommended.
