I'm going to the "Whistle Stop Cafe" today, they serve fried green tomatoes there with this unbelievably delicious dip to go with it

You know I put this thread up as a part of my quest to *self realization*, I started this quest some months back. Love is something that eludes me. I've been writing about it, I still believe you should write what you feel, and express yourself freely. Anyway, I've been having issues with jealousy, ominous nasty little beast that it is...consumer of ones energy. It will drain you, take you over if you allow it...it is like a very bad street drug...in a sense that the longer you partake in this emotion the deeper it takes its toll on you...destroying all that was once good in you, it is the darker side of love...it creeps in...takes hold. Ruins relationships of all kinds. There are those who haven't spoken to a loved one in years because of jealousy and or "insecurity". I care for jealousy about as much as I do death and taxes. There is no prick bigger or more of a pain in your side than jealousy. Anyway it an emotion that I've been battling lately. However I WILL NOT allow it to smite me, I will tame the green beast that lives within me now. There are lessons to be learned here I'm sure. But anyway, it has made its way into my quest for self realization. So I thought I would write about it, put it all out there, because I'm one for putting it all out there.

I have no words of wisdom for you, as I am trying to tame the green beast as well. I think you are strong to not let it control you. Too many let it, then they become consumed with greed and never happy. I guess I am on the same page as you. I am willing to learn as well. So throw your knowledge and wisdom at us people! I will not know everything until I am long past my expiration date....Star wrote:Hello everyone![]()

This is afterall a part of understanding "self realization" and human nature.

and yeah its a 'prick' for sure lol, but at least you can admit it and that is the first step toward getting through and past it. to me your outlook is good, you can see it for what it is, and not trying to make excuses for it.
