Spreading the word to other people about the forum.
"I planted some birdseed. A bird came up. Now I dont know what to feed it." Ramblings of a retired senile mind.

I believe social network have great power to make any website be famous at one night. But the first thing is you must have great content to attract visitors to stay in your website.

For forum, active members and interesting threads are the key point to attract more traffic. We need to create more interesting thread to discuss and let more members show their point of view, thus, a good traffic cycle will be setup and grab more traffic to come here.

It's a great forum. Most People generally don't like reading so we should add more short stories to attract the read-phobia types as well.

I could help promote this forum by tweeting about it to my 4k+ Twitter followers. (See C0ldf1re Official Twitter account.) But... Will I do it? It might depend on whether Scott reinstates my signature link!

(Scott did not reply to my post. I don't think that Scott reads these forums. He just counts his income from advertising and affiliate links.)

Have a look on the Support & Feedback Forum & you'll see how much time & effort Scott puts in.

Why should I be fair to Scott? Scott wasn't fair to me. And there is no fairness in Scott pontificating, "The same rules apply to everyone"... Not when Scott has just invented a new rule... And I am the only person affected!

My dear boy you must have been doing something very naughty if Scott set up a rule especially for you. :)

No. That time I was acting quite properly. There was a facility to set a link in your signature back to your own website. This is quite normal, and many members use it on other forums. On this forum, I was the only person using it, possibly because nobody else has their own website.

Suddenly, Scott decided to abolish this facility, and offered to let me buy advertising from him instead. Now Scott moans if I link out from this forum to relevant and useful information on my website.
