Very few fantasy and thrillers are up to much. Some exceptions, the original The Haunting, The Changeling, 1944's The Uninvited are some great ones.

The Uninvited is mint. Amityville was OK even after they found it was found it was all BS. The first sequel was OK too. The ones that followed were mostly crap, altho the one about the clock wasnt too crappy.

There Will Be Blood was another dog. Despite the title, it was about oil drilling back in the old days. It was soooo sloooow annnnd draggggy, one scene is a father taking ten minutes to say hello to his son. The whole movie was like listening to a 78 RPM record on 33 and a third. ZZZZZZZZZ

Very true. In fact I watched about 90% of Legend of Hell on fast forward. It did not really improve at all sadly.

That remake of Dracula that came out a few years ago with Patrick Bergin. Dumb, dumb, dumb. It takes place in Budapest and Old Drac has a nephew and Dr, Seward keeps trying to get into Mina's pants. I give this one 5 stupids.

Recently saw a movie with the Japanese title that translates to "The 40cm Virgin" ... I thought it was a parody of the 40 year old virgin, but it was way worse than anything I predicted.

Has anyone ever seen She's So Lovely? It stars Sean Penn and John Travolta and Robin Wright. A friend recommended it to my husband and I years ago and said it was the best movie he had ever seen. We sat watching it, dumbfounded at the sheer stupidity of the movie and believing that our friend must have been forced at gunpoint to recommend it to us. It was that bad. Given the stars, we expected something better. To this day, I still remember the name of it because it was just so awful.
