Well done ... I was wondering would anyone remember the Lada.

The thread reminded me of a man I once worked with who drove a Lada & he maintained there was no challenge if a car started every time you turned the ignition ... for him it was all about ''tinkering'' under the bonnett. You know real caveman 'man versus mechanical object' stuff.

Have to wait for the 6 in the Lotto before I get into a Lexus ... for now it's me & my trusty Clio

God i could never do that, trust me its a challenge enough to get up out of bed at 6:15am every morning and be in work by 7am, when i turn that key i want the car to just go, no questions asked, and the music to blare out and comfort me on the short trip to the lab. I am definitely not a man who needs to challenge machinery! The Lada was legendary here back in the day, if you owned one you were a pariah!

My Hyundai is much appreciated :D

My dream car is black Porsche 911. I guess I am stuck in the '80 :-D but I don't think it's vulgar, the reason I like it is because unlike other sports car its design is gentle and not vulgar at all (to my taste anyway)
However not only I cannot afford it, my conscious will not let me buy a non-electric car even if I had enough money...

Hey, I am really into Lexus. In Germay people do not drive it that often cause it is one of the more expensive brands and the insurance for the luxury cars are really costly.
