@ Gannon, Im not sure what all is in an Aztec omelet, it was shredded beef and kind of a chunky salsa and avocado and cheese. It was filling, it came with refried beans and toasted home-made bread and tortillas and french fries.

They have good food here for sure, Gannon. A lot of good eating places, and not expensive either. They just opened up a taco stand by the bank that has omelet tacos. They are good, good, good. two of them with a Coke or Fanta cost about 2.50 and will fill you up. There was an excellent seafood resturant here on the beach that I used to go to once in a while. They were a little pricey, a seafood meal was about 10 to 12 dollars, but it was worth it. The guy who owned it died, and it was closed, but I hope they open it again soon.

Thats true. Beans are a staple, a poor man's steak. :lol:

I didnt do much today, I fixed my fence so the dogs wouldnt come in the yard and eat Digger's food. I can barely afford to feed him let alone the neighborhood dogs. Digger is a wuss, he wont chase them off. He just barely got over being afraid of pigeons. Now he goes after them with a vengeance when they try to get his food. He acts all tough and macho and runs all over the yard, saying Im a real bad-ass, those pigeons wont mess with me. Hes not exactly Rin-Tin-Tin. Hes more Wimp-Wimp-Wimp. :lol:

@Ant & BH

Hahaha, when I was a little kid even the sight of baked beans would make me sick. I still find it hard to look at a plate of baked beans today. Weird huh. :D

Today I work from 11am to 7.30 pm and then home for Pizza and movie night with the family. We all look forward to Tuesdays for that reason.

Today I had to deal with some electrical problems, but nothing serious. Also a friend came for a visit then I went to a wake for one of the townspeople who died, then took my propane tank to get it filled then came home and had a peanut butter sandwich and took a nap. I dont know how I handle all this excitement.

Today was payday. I bought some groceries,tried to find a clock as mine quit working but I couldnt find one. I paid the rent and water bill, and after I pay the internet bill and fill my gas tank I may have enough left to get a 12-pack of cheap beer. Oh well, if they meant for you to hang onto money they would have put handles on it. :lol:

Took my cat to the vet and happily found out she's perfectly fine. Normally I wouldn't be so panicked but she got a cut the two days ago and I was worried she may have caught something. Okay, I'll explain...
The other day I woke up and Yahtzee was no where to be seen. Looked everywhere inside, outside, and we realized that Kit was petting and licking this specific place on the wall which she's never done before. So we looked at the other side of the wall and there's a hole for the washer hookup. We couldn't get to her at all, we we're terrified she went back there to die because she had been sick for about a week. We were trying to coax her out with food and toys, anything we could find. We were just about giving up hope after 12+ hours. I went to bed and I heard her meowing and realized she was under the floor. Matt took the vent off, I tore through the installation and our floor gave birth to Yahtzee. I was soooo happy. She only had a small cut on her leg and was starving, of course. I sliced my arm a bit but it was so worth it. So thankful she's alright.

We had a cat that did that. We called it Spot, it looked like Data's cat from the Star Trek shows. It would get in the walls and attic but could get in and out without any problem. He was looking for mice I suppose.

I had a busy day today, I had my morning BS session with my neighbor, then went to the Globo and bought some cantaloupes and a couple books and some VHS movies. I had a killer torta and some fajitas, this one guy makes the best tortas in the world. I came home, listened to a boring audio book then made some hamburger slop for dinner. Im going to watch one of the tapes tonight, The Mummy. I always liked that show I havent seen it in years. One of the others is Candyman. Thats a cool one too. Look in the mirror and say Candyman 5 times. Haaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Today I have a day off and have no clue what to do with it. Just want to do nothing BUT feel a little guilty doing that. :(
