They are harvesting onions in the fields west of my place, and they give give out a very pleasant odor. The whole colony smells like onions.

Suzy, that sounds like my cooking. When I finish making a meal the kitchen looks like the Slaughter on Tenth Avenue.

On a hot day and you discover a moldering cat gift  Know I should immediately be praising them as mighty hunters...but sorry guys, the headless bird stinks...worse...then you have to look around for the other parts of the prize gahhhh

That sounds as bad as dead mice. I use mouse food to get rid of the little buggers, but they croak in the walls and stink up the place.

Favorite: Peppermint, chocolate, those sorts of "candy" smells.

Least Favorite: A porta-john that's been sitting in the hot sun all day. Had to sit about 10 feet away from one of those things all summer...

Even rotten dead bodies. A guy I knew bought a car cheap at a police auction that someone died in, it sat for a few weeks in hot weather for a few weeks before they found it. It was a nice car, a late model Thunderbird, but he never could get the smell out of it.

I'm sorry Suzy...I have my tribal bracelets in a jar with sandalwood and patchouli and customers tell me how wonderful I smell...I tell them it's essence of head shop. Of course I wear a whole bunch of other scents too.

Tonight it smells perfect outside. The weather is cooling off and there's the breeze and wood smoke in the air...so peaceful
