In the novel, James Taggart’s first words are “Don’t bother me, don't bother me, don’t bother me.” Why is this significant? How do his first words relate to his thoughts and actions throughout the novel?

Can anyone help me out with this?

Putting a dying loved one on the floor so he or she wont die in a feather bed or pillow. According to some beliefs, a persons soul wont pass through feathers.

I feel like I am in the middle of an acid trip, to be quite honest... I have no experience in that area, for the record, but the way the book describes the setting, it's totally the way I imagine it would be like... just colors and colors everywhere... swirling and swirling and imagery and wheeeeee

Getting ready to meet sheriff at the local watering hole.
Not a date.
Thinking about what I'm wearing.
But it's not a date.
Bonding with living tattoos...

Did I say not a date???

I've just arrived at Ecotopia. I'm learning their customs but finding it rather difficult :)

Getting the guillotine oiled ready for the remainder of the population of Paris - not many left alive now!
The French Revolution didn't take as long as it's taken me to read about it in A Place of Greater Safety but the finishing line is well in sight now.

I'm fairly certain I'm causing chaos in a small town in order to keep someone safe...
I'm also trying to find missing children.
And dealing with a snarky dragon.

Forgot which thread I was reading and seriously thought you were "not" going on a date!

Right now I am in LA! Just chilling out, looking out over a valley or something.
