Thats for sure. I liked the part in the swimming pool and the Baby Ruth candy bar.

Another old favorite was Stars and Stripes Forever with Clifton Webb. A bio pic about John Philip Sousa.

I own all of these on DVD and have watched them so many times they are starting to skip and freeze

They found out CD's and DVD's dont last as long as they once thought. Some say 20 years, some say less than that. Probably depends how much they are used.

One movie I never get tired of watching is Ed Wood. Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi is a hoot.

He did an excellent job in that role! That guy has some good acting chops! Very underrated.

He was a great actor, thats for sure. I remember him as the baddie in North by Northwest.

He had that series years ago, Space 1999. I always liked that show, but it wasnt on for long.

He was also excellent in Mission:Impossible! He also guest starred in The Jeopardy Room on The Twilight Zone which is one of my all-time favorite episodes! I have never seen him in a bad performance.

I watched the Book Thief last night. It was a really nice film. I read the book years ago and didn't think the movie would do it justice. I was wrong! The movie was simply amazing. The movie was similar to how I imagined it in my mind while I read the book. Awesome Movie for those who love this type of genre!

I too was very impressed with the movie. It was quite the pleasant surprise for me as I have never read the book and rented it only based on the preview of it.

Just saw the movie Red tails with my hubby. It is about the Tuskegee Airmen. It was a very good movie. I surprisingly enjoyed it very much. I enjoyed it because it showed how stereotypes can be distorted. It was a feel good movie for me.

Any movie directed by Tarantino is my favorite (except the Grindhouse ones, those were so not his style), but if I have to pick one it will probably be Inglorious Basterds. Or Django.

CRASH, a modern day parable, very deep movie full of " sociological concepts "............extraordinarily entertaining and spellbinding on every level...time for me to see it again, which I hardly ever do...
