Working on the house. We need to raise a floor in one small closet area and do more drywall work. I hate doing drywall. This is me last year doing drywall :shock: .

I hear ya bout the " DRYWALL ".................a nightmare, even tho we sectioned rooms /areas off w/plastic sheeting, it became " airborne " and infiltrated EVERYWHERE! :evil: :cry:

Yup…it's even worse than pine needles from a Christmas tree. They seem to turn up even months after Christmas, lol.

Good luck w/your renovation ( I've done it 3x )...ppl watch those " Home " tv shows and have no idea of how difficult an undertaking it is...

Many times I was Sooo overwhelmed, but in the end it was worth it!

My husband and I love doing them and we work very well together. You are right though…people think it is so easy….not, lol.

My stepdaughter asked us to help her demo and then remodel her kitchen last year. She thought it would take one…maybe two days. :shock: I had to prepare her for reality, lol.

I hear ya!.., kitchen's are the worst!.... (.we've even renovated a BOAT!, ) we were a great team too!...

He was a very talented guy, I'm convinced he could have built a house from scratch if he had to...

It's undoubtedly hard work, but such FUN too!

Putting up drywall isnt my favorite thing thats for sure. They say even some professionals burn out after a few years.

Cleaning, reading, playing with my kids, nap because my 1 month old had me up all night and then enjoying a rather large glass of wine when my husband gets home and the kids go to bed. :)

I'm about to leave to go to the premiere of the new Hunger Games movie. I'm pretty excited, I quite liked the last one and I recently reread the whole series to prepare for this one so I can point out everything I think is badly done haha.
I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over.
Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.
