Rebecca I was the same with the old Chinese lady that lived next door to me for a bit. I love Chinese food, but smelling it cooking all the time, and the sort of... leftover smell hanging in the air... put me right off!

I am back to being a Chinese food lover though, now that I don't live near it all the time.

There's a Mexican saying that describes that to perfection... Beer won't let me remember, but that always happens. But yes, that left over smell in the air... yikes. Since I only have a small "studio" (you know, a small room with a bed, little kitchen, little desk, bookcase and bathroom) I always air my room to the max so that the smell of whatever I'm cooking won't get in my clothes or books. So I barely cook to be honest. I mean, I make all my meals, but I try to make salads, eat fruit, make healthy sandwiches with veggies, etc. I love to cook, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, but it takes me a lot of time cooking only for myself and I sincerely don't want the smell to linger for a long time. So keeping it simple for the moment.
Be nice to me! English is not my native language. :)

I think my favorite food is chicken sandwiches. They are delicious and easy to make.

My favourite would have to be Vietnamese food. One of my best friends is from Vietnam, and she introduced me to it. Mmm...

Yum, I love Vietnamese food too! I have quite a few Vietnamese friends and there are heaps of good Vietnamese restaurants in Brisbane.
