Re: Today

Today I am kicking back, reading books and watching my son playing his new Xbox. Boxing day is a day for just chilling out.

Well, lets see. My dog got me up at 6 saying "Daddy I gotta go out and dump." I let her out, made coffee, fed the dogs, got on the computer for a while, had breakfast chorizo and eggs, walked to my brother-in-laws place and swapped lies then came home, read for a while. Then I went to the town dinner came home, had a much-needed nap and that was pretty much my day.

What did you think of the Life of Pi SKM. Did you see it in 3D?

Thought it was brilliant, I started a new thread on it! The 3D effects were quite good but mostly reserved for the opening of the movie, to be honest I still would have enjoyed it in normal 2D.

Just sitting at work, "fighting" with colleague about what's the right temperature we should turn on AC to.

I'm at work today which is not my norm for Fridays but making up for Christmas time. So, falling asleep at my desk! Busy Christmas week is really catching up with me! I managed to finish my one book, The Bridge last night while waiting for my daughters at swim practice. I then started on The Shadow of the Wind but fell asleep in the cafe! Chair was a bit too comfy next to the fireplace I guess. Thankfully, not many people around and no drooling!

Today I am having a well deserved rest after working my fingers to the bone on one of our rental properties for the last couple of weeks. I am kicking back and getting stuck into "Les Miserables". :D

I went through my videos today and sorted out the ones that I dont like, or have seen a bunch of times, and ones I will never watch. I ended up with two boxes full that I marked crap. I can sell them and buy some more crappy ones. Thats what usually happens, you clean out junk to make room for more junk.
