I guess thats the norm now, some of those actresses look like the advance scouts for a plague.

Wasnt it John Hannah who was in The Mummy movies? He was good in those. He played kind of an idiot, but came through when the heavy stuff came down.

Uncle Boonmee - Who can Recall His Past Lives, is perhaps the worst film I have ever seen; but more oddly, my boyfriend thought it was a brilliant film & we don't usually disagree about foreign films!

Some of those Thai films are really bad. But I saw one a while back, Tom-Yum-Goong and it was the best martial arts film I have ever seen. The copy I have was the original in Thai language, but the storyline was so simple that it was easy to follow.

Although not quite 'martial art' related, have you watched any Takeshi Kittano films about Yakuza gangsters or the police? If you haven't, I would check them out, they are very good & the accompanying soundtracks are too! :D

I remember some Yakuza films that came out a few years ago. As I remember they were pretty good.

My taste for class and culture must be rubbing off.

Im getting curious about Sharknado. Got to see that one.

With all these weird animal movies they should make one about Mormon crickets. Evert few years Utah gets an invasion of them, they are everywhere. Where we lived they would get into buildings, the roads were covered with them, it was like driving over popcorn. Maybe Crickets Vs. Sharknado would be a good title.

It would probably be a hit. Couldnt be any worse than some of them. Especially Rabbits or that one about the praying mantis that came out in the 50's.
