I once read in an editor scorecard that the movie title I used in a review should be italicized while quotes from the book should not, rather they should be indicated with quotation marks. What about using an external quote as an introduction? Should it be italicized, written in quotation marks or both?

It will not show as bold or italized in the preview but you should see the box for bold before and after the parts you marked to be bold and the i before and after the part you wanted to be in italics. When I quoted your comment, on my screen now as I am typing this, it shows [ quote the post you entered above and then quote ] at end. I tried to space things out so you could see what I am seeing as editing. Although it may put it all in quotes now.
