I order stuff from Walmart, I like to get different things to try from Amazon, like Red Bush Tea, which I read about in the #1 ladies detective agency

Right on L.C.!

Amazon trumps everyone for the unusual....just discovered BROWN rice wrappers, a new product that had a waiting list of weeks....

also just received a " thingamajig " that facilitates removing every last drop from a toothpaste tube...( hand lotion, anchovy paste, etc. )...love those gadgets!...it works like a charm....( and all that for under a buck )

am i missing anything re " red bush tea?" never heard of it....

i'm presently on a ginger-lemon tea kick ( w/Mexico Limones and buckwheat honey...

Carpe Diem!
Suzy...

Red Bush tea isn't bad, the ladies at the detective agency have it three or four times a day I think.
It is from Africa.

Oh!
I got a thingamijig to hold the water in my tub and it actually works, so I can take a bath when I want to.

And, not from Amazon, but I got a replacement toilet tank cover to replace the one I broke. (Does anyone else know how hard those are to come by?)

Books and DVD's mostly. My wife used to order that weird stuff from Dr. Leonards, but they usually never worked.

L.C. "replacement toilet tank cover "..............wowee! only on the net!

btw, i just ordered the " no.1 ladies detective agency book ( thanks to you! ) strikes me as a perfect summer " beach book " am i wrong?....

not to mention i got the " bargain of the century " on a " used but looks like new " book for under a buck....the S&h was more at $ 3.99, but what the heck ( a new reading experience for under $5, ya just can't beat it! 8) )

this actually trumps my last astounding HSN bargain of a set of eyeglass " readers in every color for only $4 each ( incl. sunglasses and carrying case... 8) 8)

your mention of " red bush tea " reminded me that i still had some " Jamaica" tea in the larder, ( made from the Hibiscus flower )............first discovered this ruby red colored tea in Mexico, which when iced is a wonderful thirst quencher as well as being rich in vit. C and thought to lower blood pressure and cholesterol...

That sounds like it could be beet juice, beets are supposed to lower cholesterol. Ive made something similar in a juicer, beet juice mixed with carrot juice and its quite tasty.

Last thing I ordered online was an electric razor, but it wasnt up to much. It worked about as well if I didnt turn it on.

I do our food shopping online, and I mostly order books or household items. The last thing I purchased was a pair of sunglasses which arrived today :)

I mostly order dvds, games and books online. Very rarely would I order clothes due to the fact that different companies have tight or loose fitting clothes so its hard to judge it online. Ebay and Amazon would be my main sites.

H.B. try the brand " Bolthouse " it comes in bottles, dee-lish...10 zillion carrots in 1 bottle...or better yet make your own....i agree the canned was dreadful...

A dollop of crema on the top of that beet juice and you have some KILLER BORSCHT....yes, it is very healthy....

Didja ever BAKE/ROAST beets?...super sweet cause it " carmelizes ' in the oven...love the beet TOPS too...can't believe some ppl throw them out...( to me they taste like " swiss chard " one of my faves )

do you have a veggie garden?

Not really. Ive got some cantaloupes and grape vines thats about all. Do you?

Thats the best part of the beet is the tops. Boil them with a little salt and butter and you have something fit for a king.

L.B., as a lover of weird foods, just call me Andrew Zimmern ( t.v. show on travel channel " bizarre foods " )...how would you best describe the taste of pig ears?, i know you won't just say " chicken " :)

Ialways order rolls of paper products from wal-mart cause it's cheaper and more convenient re loading my car and then unloading into the house from garage...most ppl don't realize that s&h are free w/a min. of a $45 order. which these days is very easy to achieve...( i think Amazon has only a $25 min. )
