How did you come up with your screen name?

Post by sissybear »

I've been talking about names a lot and it got me wondering how people come up with their screen names.....I got mine from my sister when she was younger because she didn't know how to say my name so she would call me "Sissybear" or Sissy" :D

I just took my real name :) I love nicknames of all kinds, but they gotta feel like you. And none felt like me enough.

I picked my screen name because it is the same on another forum. I like to keep things simple. Also, I am an Artist. Love to paint in Oil and Acrylic. I am french, so I write Artist in french. The other forum, Artiste was taken, so I added the number 8 because it is my lucky number and birthday (Aug 8th).

On here it is Haines_Drew which is just my last and then first name so that's not very interesting. The other screen names I use our Nightwing3844, which is just Nightwing then the 38 is for Detective Comics #38, the first appearance of Robin and the 44 is for Teen Titans #44, the first appearance of Nightwing. My screen name on Steam is PixelZombie which is basically combining my love for gaming with my love for zombies.

I took my League of Legends summoners name "Protectoftheguard" and switched the beginning with my favorite character "Cait"

A friend actually came up with my name a couple years ago. We were discussing joining the roller derby team and were coming up with nicknames, since all the women who do this sport have amazing handles.

My name is Hayley ---> Haylethal
