You get the opportunity to chose between two secret talents: either to be able to make things come to life through reading them or the gift to read yourself into a book. Which one would you like to have?
I would like to read myself into a book because the I could be able to go to a lot of different adventures

I would love to read myself into a book, because then it can be something just for me. It would also give me a chance to get away with the one thing I love.

I would read myself into a book because then I could steal all the hot guys for myself hehehehehe. But it would be fun, too.

I'm going to be different and say the first one. Then, what I would do, is just WRITE whatever I wanted to happen, and then I would read it and make it come true. I would have so much power in the world! Mwahaha!

The question that I am surprised that has not been asked yet is after we read ourself into the book, can we read ourself back out of it whenever we want, or are we stuck inside until the story is over, or maybe stuck forever? This would really make the decision much more difficult and more important that you definitely made sure you chose the right book. As for bringing things out, I would just be sure not to do that with any Lovecraft books for sure! Yikes!

Well, the options are pretty much the same. If I can read myself INTO a book and explore its world, then I wouldn't need to bring it to life. If I did bring it to life, then I could explore it in the same was in being IN the world while also being able to live in my own. If I did bring it to life, then the rest of the world could profit from my gift. But it would be necessary to consider WHAT we can bring to life. Is it merely individual objects/people, or is it the entire world? If the latter, what consequences would that have on our world?

I'm over-thinking it again ... Put me down for the second one ...

I'm pretty sure both options wouldn't end up being as fun as they seem. Imagine reading The Hunger Games into existence? How about bringing all of those monsters in to the world? This actually reminds me of Inkheart, I think someone mentioned it. (Great read btw) And reading yourself in to a book, that's great, until you get to the life-threatening part of the book. Actually that might not be so bad. The characters got out of it, didn't they? Nevermind...

I am thinkng that maybe it is a good thing that nobody really has this ability! Right? Nobody actually DOES have this ability, do they? Wait! How find that dragon get into my room! Ahhhhhhh!
