Probably pretty good, at least for a short time. I don't think we will have the post-apocalyptic scenario, but blackouts, brownouts, and other limited events that cause a panic are almost assured to happen at some point where being prepared in this way will become essential. I just hope that everybody has at least something to survive on their own for a couple weeks without help. :?

Water is definitely the key and people have no clue about how they will have nothing if it gets shut off. Scary thought.

Cool thread. Yeah I think there will be many small emergencies where people will have to survive for short periods of time. As for the big one…well I think it will be an economic collapse.

My husband and I built an off grid home in TN as our safe haven. Before our recent move we could have lived there for at least two years without human contact.

Now we are in FL and we have small things like:
water
lots of canned foods
#10 cans….so many of those
beans, rice, and sugar buckets
flashlights
first aid emergency supplies
guns and ammo
liquor for bartering, lol
cash
medications and vitamins
solar panels…just have to set those babies up
and we have an rv for back up living
extra gas

Need to do a little more prepping:)

Suzy…don't forget the small cash so you won't have to give a $20.00 when you could have used a $5.00.

TY for the tip on the " small bills ", but I believe " bartering " would become the major currency, don't you ?...

It's best to cover all bases...( just saw " liquor for bartering " on your list ).................good luck to all of us !
