Weekend Movie Club (Nomination Thread)

Post by Skillian »

Hey! So on another thread some of us were thinking about choosing a movie for all of us to watch each weekend. We are going to just nominate, discuss, and choose... on this thread. WITHOUT SPOILERS!

Then we all have the whole weekend to try to watch the movie. Then on the 'Weekend Movie Club (Post Movie Discussion)' thread... we will all talk about what we did and didn't like!

A movie I would recommend for consideration for this very first weekend (which might actually start next weekend since so last minute).. would be 'Doubt.' I just thought the acting was superb and it just got me thinking about so many elements of morality. Just really good.

Do we have any guidelines for the nominations just like the book of the month has?

One could be that the movie has to be available on Netflix at the very least. Just a thought.

And maybe once every month we have a "bad movie" nomination for ones we think are bad adaptations or something so that we can get each other's opinion on it as well.

That's exactly what I was thinking. If everyone wants to try it that is. :D

Do we want certain ratings on these at all or does it not matter?
