As you know, I sometimes post surprise giveaways on my personal social media pages as well as on the OnlineBookClub pages, giving cash prizes to the first few people to comment on a post. Here's an example of a surprise giveaway, so you can see what I mean.

To have a chance of winning these, and to stay updated on all of the other exciting news and announcements, you will want to make sure you have both my Instagram page and the official OnlineBookClub Instagram page set to Favorites with Notifications turned on.

To do this, follow the instructions below.

Step 1 -- Go to my Instagram Page (@scott_hughes) on the Instagram mobile app.

Step 2 -- Click the "Following" button on the left, below my bio, to open a menu.

Step 3 -- In the menu that opens, click "Add to Close Friends list" (to make it into a white star inside a green circle), and then click "Add to favorites" (to make that one a red star).

Step 4 -- Click the bell icon in the upper-right of my Instagram page to open another different menu.

Step 5 -- Turn on all four options by toggling them to the right, and then change "Goes live" from "Some" to "All".

Step 6 -- You can verify you completed the steps correctly, by viewing my Instagram Page and double-checking that (1) the "Following" button is in green font and the bell icon has a checkmark in it.

Step 7 -- Repeat steps 1 through 6, but for the OnlineBookClub Instagram page instead of mine.


If you have any trouble at all, please reply to this topic and specify which step you get stuck on by number, and then I will help advise you further.
