Learning to read faster
I'm an impatient person and that has always been my struggle with reading books for pleasure. Often I find myself becoming distracted in my thoughts or with day to day tasks.
Over the past 6 months I have solved this problem and now I read about a book every other day. I primarily read professional development books in business and now find myself reading more fiction. When I read the books have turned into "movies" and it flows much better.
Has anyone tried programs that teach you to read faster (speed and comprehension)? Would enjoy hearing your thoughts.

Here are some comprehension tips:
If you have to slow down and ask yourself, "How am I picturing that?" then do so. (It'll improve your speed in the future.)
If you're stuck and don't know how to picture something, whether it be a word or concept, look it up!
Go through a whole chapter (fiction or non) and make a keyword for each paragraph. Then look over your list of keywords and retell the chapter in your mind using that list.
I hope that helps! Honestly, if you're reading one book every other day, I don't think you're having any speed issues!

I don't have this issue anymore, especially over the past 4 plus months. I used a program called XXX, and against by belief, it worked

P.S. I love Louisville.
