College majors and life decisions

Hey !

I'm new to the forum but would like to open up a pretty interesting topic of conversation which is college education and decisions that we may encounter at this time of our lives.

At a young age and coming from a South American upbringing, going to college was a must. But coming tithe states to pursue my degree in engineering I have met a lot people who have struggle making the decision of attending college, for not only financial reasons but also fear of not succeding.

So I invite you to discuss your view on this and also share your field of study if any or interest of study.
