Rules: Easy. Write a paragraph to continue the story.

Chapter 1:

I shouldn't have opened the door. But I did and it was too late to do anything about that now. He found me.

I am not good at this, but I wanted to bring it to the top for more creative writers than me. :)

So I took the thread and tied it securely around my waist as I began my ascent to the top of the mountain where the best and brightest creative minds dwell. Many precarious footholds and hours of determined struggle later, I finally crested the summit and lay down panting just past the edge. Minutes later, I rose to my knees and unwrapped the thread from my waist preparing to give it to those who could take it where it deserved to go. As I raised my head to look around, I almost dropped the thread back down the mountain in shock at the unbelievable sight before me.

It was him and there was no mistaking it. Harvey Knox, writer of the book said to be responsible for the mass suicide which occurred in New York in June, 2015. He had run away, because everybody said that he was some kind of evil being. A devil of some sort who could brainwash people with books!
