The most comfortable and effective position for long reading

I can't read long without getting restless and fidgety as I find it hard to get a comfortable position. What reading position or method should I adopt?

I can get the same way sometimes. Usually I end up reading in a chair that I can adjust myself around in, or I just read laying on my stomach in bed before I go to sleep to help unwind. If I absolutely, 100% cannot get comfortable, I might end up walking around the house and reading at the same time. This may or may not have resulted in multiple bruised shins and stubbed toes, so be careful.
I've heard those neck pillows can be helpful if you want to keep your neck from getting tired while reading.

The most comfortable position for me is laying down in a bed holding the book above me. When the book hits me in the face, I switch my position to laying on my stomach. My face thanks me every time.

I lay on my side and prop my reader up sideways (parallel to my face) against a pillow. Then I don't have to hold it, and I can get comfy.
Or I lay on the couch with my back propped up and pull my knees up so I can rest my reader on my legs.
lol I don't like holding my reader. My arms get tired xD

I like to lay on my bed with a few pillows or a big stuffed animal behind me for support. I move a lot too, but this is the position that I can stay in the longest.

Personally I can never read on a bed, it's just too uncomfortable and doesn't really give much support. Favorite position would be reading on a sofa, usually with my legs tucked under me.

For me a recliner or a sofa would work best. I don't want my legs hanging down for too long. Having the arm of the sofa or recliner would work best to lay my book on or my hands will go numb after awhile. Shifting from time to time will alleviate other parts of my body from going numb also. Of course, having a drink at the ready is scientifically proven to help you stay hydrated, and thus help staying focused on the task at hand.
