Respected all members,
When I heard lots of Michel Jackson Health and at last his death. I was really sad after read this news.
So, mine would be the death of the great well-known singer MJ’ death was biggest story in year 2009.
In your opinion, which one was the biggest?

His death was a real shock for me, so I can't think of any other evens of the last year

ok I know it was waaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy back in January but the inauguration of president Obama stands out. Im in the UK and that was huge news over here. Well it is always big news when theres a new president but it was a bigger deal this time round.
The others that stand out is the Amanda Knox trial, swine flu and the resession. Entertainment wise death of Michael Jackson (so many ppl in my office had tickets to see him) and Jade Goody (one for the UK that last one)

I agree - His death was the biggest story of 2009 and I am still shocked and saddened by it.
Another story I was fascinated with in 2009 was the rescue of Jacyee Dugard.
