How does it work if a review is sent back for editing while you're reading the next book?

Considering that the update tab on the books you select seem to only refer to one reading instance, what happens if you are reading another book while waiting for a review's full approval, and you've already confirmed this second book, and a prior review is sent back for editing?

I have 4 reviews in my history tab, 3 of which are pending. I currently haven't selected another book. I just finished the edits on the review that was sent back to be edited. The other 2 still seem to have not yet been looked at by the review approval team. I know that it can take a few weeks for responses. If I select and start reading another book, and the review returns again, how does that work in the system? I don't mind interrupting a current book for a short time to fix a prior book's review. Is the update system able to do this?

It shouldn't cause any issues if a review is sent back. Previously higher level reviews were able to select more than one book at a time, though this had been stepped, so the website has the capacity to show more than 1 book on your update tab at once.
