Mexico ~ Playa Del Carmen, last October

This was my first adult trip ~ no children. I went with some friends. OMG it was awesome. I did things I never would have dreamed of...

Dropped into a 30 foot bat infested cave/cenote (fresh water)
Climbed Pyramids
Zip lined over a crocodile infested lake
Horse rode through the jungle and then gallopped through the water on the beach
Danced in the rain on the sand
Snorkled ~ and even was stung by a jelly fish ouch!!
oh and drank really cool drinks (a lot) lol

I'm going again in about 8 weeks with the same people ~ can't wait!!

Lake Garda in Italy last June ... most beautiful place I've ever been
We fade away, but vivid in our eyes

Last holiday I went on was to Auckland last Christmas. Went to visit hubby's family(the in-laws) It was ok. You can only really take Auckland and the in-laws in short time periods(I love them though).

Next holiday will probably go to the most beautiful town - Queenstown!

I went to Utah last Oct. I had a good time, hooked up with an old lady friend, saw my kids, partied with some old friends, it was fun. Im going back again probably next spring if I can save the money and my old car is still running.

Ha ha.. Playa del carmen is awsome! I've been there with my wife during our honey moon several years ago and liked it so much! We were staying at Tartuga hotel which was fantastic.

The first week of this month (August), we went to the Okanagan in British Columbia. It was hot and dry, a little different than what we are accustomed to here on the coast. It was great to get away from the city. We stayed beside a lake, had great weather, and the children played outside each day--in the sand or the water.

I loved getting out of the city. I'd like to get out of the city permanently if I could; too bad the opportunities are so limited.

My fiance and I went to Panama City Beach, FL in March. We had a good time but the weather wasn't real cooperative so we only had one day where we could lay out on the beach. So we did all the silly touristy non-weather-dependent things there were to do.
