Would teenage boys share a bed?

Ok, not grammar, but in my latest review book, two 17-year-old boys (who are rather confused over their sexuality) routinely share a bed on sleepovers. They think nothing of it and believe they are straight (though they are in fact gay as a window).
Am I showing my age again when I think that 17 year old guys would shy away from bed sharing?

Mmm, I asked my son who's 17 and he said, "No way, I'd rather sleep on the floor".

The gay factor changes everything. Straight boys, never no way. But confused boys? You bet. What better excuse to find out about their sexuality.
