"The ever-ambitious bio-mage has his sight on some ancient documents that allegedly contain information about how one can successfully transition from the physical universe to the magical universe."

Does the above contain any error? (esp. concerning the word "sight"?)

I did a Google search on the phrase, and it shows “sights” used in this idiom.
