Life, A Piece Art.

Post by Livingstone Ochieng »

Life is like a piece of art,
it requires heart.
Choose your paint and brush,
take your heart and avoid the rush.

Before you paint, choose your theme,
and don’t be afraid to follow your dream.
It’s alright to make a mistake,
cause our paint is real, it’s not fake.

Look at your paint, don’t be crying,
begin again, keep on trying.
Your painting is never fully complete,
enjoy the process to make it sweet.

Oh, I like this. A lot of other poems I've seen with this theme don't cover the bit about trying again, so I especially appreciated that bit.

I do not take the credit for writing the poem though, it was shared with me by a friend and I decided to share as well. It's a real inspiration.

The strength of words in this piece inspires and unleashes the potential in us. Thanks for this.
Bury your dictionaries

The words you need
are in your heart
and the eyes
of the people
you love.
