WRITE ME A POEM...a COVID19 poem.
Can you or did you write a poem about the pandemic? Would you share it?
Make it funny, make it heartfelt, make it ironic...
Lets make each other smile, laugh, cry, sad, angry... Lets get it all out! Don't bottle it up.
FEEL YOUR FEELINGS!!! Please Share!

I am poet and a songwriter. I went to school for English and would be happy to write a poem.
Regards,
Vanessa

this year didn´t start well
we are in quarantine
they say is something called covid-19
Here from Spain I write to you
we´ve been already 21 days
locked up in our homes, very bored
I think there´s no escape
we´re running out of toilet paper
so hear my last words
if I survive this I will eat a double Mac Cheese.

The year of 2020
I thought it’d be swell
I thought I’d make friends
Hang on weekends
And go to concerts that never end
With a heart of gold
And a face so bold
Daring the heavens to bend
Just a little bit
So I can see my old friends
But here we all are surviving
Not living
Disease and grief attacking us
Mother Nature crying for us
Crying that we were bad eggs
And that we always push her away
Telling me that the heavens won’t bend because there is no pity left for her children if there ever was
And so I will not see my old friends
Because the gatekeeper is sick with Covid-19
And there’s a line that goes on for miles and miles,
Stretching almost beyond infinity
We are grounded. It makes sense.
Why didn’t it happen sooner?
There are less cars on the road
Less pollution in the air
Less noise all around
I can finally hear the birds
They chirp even at night, who knew?
Mother Nature can breathe now
While we hold our breath,
Until she tells us to breathe again.

poetry of life
nothing could change it
even the death inside.
times seem terrifying
but man is terrifying the most,
concerned is the just,
for being just and nothing else.
now a pandemic surround us,
but that is not a coincidence,
is the hand of an evil man,
who caused this terrible illness.
humankind seems to be lonely,
but that is not true at all,
beyond his reason reaches,
it is the hand of Our Great Lord.

Covid-19, spreading fast.
Socialization in the past.
FaceTime and Zoom are our only hope
In this lonely time. We have to cope
Without our lovely, friendly groups.
Oh, COVID, you sent my insanity in a loop.
Introverts:
COVID-19, spreading fast.
Socialization, in the past.
Netflix, Hulu, my long time friends,
We'll stay together to all ends.

All the schools had computers
They used-e- them
They used the computers- to save us
They used-e-them
In the school, they used to have-e-kids
They saved them
With a meet,meet here and a meet,meet there
Here a meet, there a meet, everywhere a meet, meet
All the schools had computers
They used-e-them.
