Love poetry will never not be relevant
Pablo Neruda, one of my favorite poets writes in dated speech, though I can connect to the emotion as if he were speaking today. Similar to Shakespear, though he writes so differently than us, we can connect with the love and affection much better than anything else because it is such a strong emotion, and will always be relevant. no matter the speech, date, or even language.
