Thank you for your words! Um, sorry I don't have any of my works right now because after the comments of everyone around me, I burnt all of my writings. I stopped writing after that. I am trying to start writing agan.

Thank you so much! Your words made me so emotional and overwhelmed. I am so glad that there are people out there who appreciate everything. I am going to take your advice and write poetry again. You are a great person. Thank you, again! I hope you get all the happiness in the world. You really made me feel nice about me today. This hardly happens. Writing poetry gives me the biggest joy of all and whenever I am feeling overwhelmed, I write my heart out. I would love to read your poetry and I will share mine when I will write it.Samwisekoop wrote: ↑28 May 2020, 09:59 Please, don't let the comments of others bring you down. All poetry is beautiful, especially when it comes from the heart. Poetry isn't something that should appeal to ALL audiences. Poetry should bring YOU joy when you write it. It should be freeing. It DOESN'T matter what others think. It is yours and it comes naturally to you! I'd say write like a boss! Some of the greatest poets wrote lyric poetry such as Emily Dickinson and William Shakespeare! Lyric poetry is something that isn't as easy as everyone says. If it comes naturally, then of course it is easy. But to say ANY child can do it is just ignorant! Yes, some kids it comes naturally to, but can they write it within a few minutes...? I doubt it! I definitely agree with @brown_gal! Sounds to me like the negative comments come from those who are jealous...or those with no taste. Poetry is art! Art comes in all different shapes and sizes. Everyone has different tastes. Just because some people say you aren't good, doesn't mean everyone thinks that! I would love to see your poetry! My own poetry is a bit odd, but it is something that I love to do that is freeing. It comes from my heart and just doesn't stop spilling out! No one can measure the talent of my feelings?! And they shouldn't for you either! Please, keep writing and share it with us!
Take care

Oh, thank you! I'm glad that my words spoke to you! Yeah! Go and write your heart out!! It is so important to have things in this world that bring you joy. I am so glad that poetry is one of them! I can't wait to read your poetry! I posted a few...called "Home", "Hourglass", and "Freedom for Patriots". I am a little hesitant to post a lot of my poetry...but I'm getting there! I just want to give you a quote of encouragement really quick..."If one dream should fall and break into a thousand pieces, never be afraid to pick one of those pieces up and begin again." -Flavia WeednSumansona1344 wrote: ↑29 May 2020, 07:35Thank you so much! Definitely agree! Nothing happens if we don't take action. That is a nice quote! Who is it by? I'm sorry that you feel sick...Get better!Sumansona1344 wrote: ↑29 May 2020, 12:03 Yeah, it is! I am going to write when I get better. I am feeling sick from two days. I will find and read your poetry. I love that quote. It really amazed. I am going to write it down. My former favorite quote is "Something good is about to happen". It always gives me a hope. Also, we need to take action to fulfill our dream, thinking about taking an action is going to do nothing.
Thank you for your kind words!
