Thoughts on Music Therapy

Post by MrsTurner2013 »

I wrote a thesis on the effects of music therapy on PTSD and proved that it does help to lower symptoms and resolve unattended issues. I have heard that music therapy does tremendous wonders on patients who have dementia.

What are your thoughts? Do you believe that music therapy is successful and has a place in therapy or should it be dismissed as a faux therapy?

Thats amazing! I was going to be a music therapist, but as I entered my Master's degree I found a love for ancient poetry so I am pursuing it! I wish you luck hon! Music therapy is a wonderful course of study!

I think it works. Haven't tried it myself, but music alters many things inside of me.
