Narrative as Poetry and Song lyrics : "His sharp blue eyes seemed to say how much am I worth ?" They really said "Hello goodbye" Quoted from SLIDE SAIRA VIOLA using song and poetry in narrative i think this is very cool and trippy . Any other books that do this ?

OMG! Just wrote an entire review on this book and now there is poetry thread on it ! How cool is that! Yeah I think the poetic references are very beautiful even the ones describing pain or remorse :
"Now her silent beauty was etched with grey the grey you find in the lost eyes of sacrifice" and from the same book :
"He always saw everything in Mattise shades of blue" Dimple spoke with that strange Mid Atlantic Bollywood drawl her words curving each syllable like the shape of her boudoir frame " "The girl was like a smiling android on bad ketamine". This book rocks with lyrical beauty .

Viola 's book is unique she has developed a new style of writing self labelled scatterscript , she takes colours, sound and lyrical beats poetry and makes character descriptions and emotions from the music of the words : "He was a boom boom shake the room kind of guy", "She was a frills and thrills babe in a leopard mini with a slutbomb pout". It is completely different and nobody has done it before that's why this book is causing such a stir !
