I don't play any type of instruments, but I'd love to learn piano.

I have played the piano ever since I was a kid. While I'm pretty rusty with my skill right now, I'm always willing to try making covers of songs I like.

Here is my all-time favorite and most popular musical instrument.
Piano
Piano is awesome!!
Anyone can play it. It Looks beautiful, sounds beautiful, smooth and majestic. It's wonderful! it's very fun, simple, easy to learn, versatile, flexible instrument in the world. The instrument you should learn first is Piano. It is the most popular among music composers. It can be played to make a relaxing, soothing and peaceful mood or a loud and fun mood. The piano has a range larger than all instruments. You can play bass/rhythm, harmony, and melody all at the same time.

I played the violin a decade ago, my daughter (6) wants to learn the ukulele so I might dive in with her!

I have played the piano since I was 7 years old! In all honesty, I'm not half as far along as I should be after playing for 10 plus years (because for a long time I barely practiced), but lately I've been inspired to work at it much harder and I have been making significant progress! I also sing a lot, which my piano knowledge helps with. I own a ukulele but I think I only know how to play two songs! Maybe I should consider practicing it some more too!

I've played piano since I was 5 and got into singing in college. Otherwise, I played clarinet in band for a few years and grew to hate it, so I swapped to orchestra and played viola. Hopefully one day I will get back into viola, but I don't own one and can't see myself buying one anytime soon.

Those are all so different! Are you teaching yourself to play sax and trumpet or getting some type of formal instruction?

Well, I follow YouTube tutorials. I don't think there is anything different,,, noted will remain as they are no matter the instrument. Doh in a piano will remain doh in a sax in whatever key it is played

There's a lot more to playing an instrument than just reading music... I'd been playing for piano for 10 years when I started learning viola and I definitely needed an instructor to help me get the fingering and bowing down. Saxophone would be pretty straightforward - just if it squeaks on high notes keep the corners of your mouth firmer. Trumpet I don't know about, though. Seemed kind of complicated figuring out what to do with your lips from hearing the instructions in band class, but maybe it's more intuitive than it sounded.

I can sing, and I also play the saxophone, ukulele, guitar, piano, and the recorder, I guess.

I play piano and violin. It’s a great way to wind down at the end of the day.
