Calling All AFI (band) Fans

Post by boardj »

Hi!

Just want to see if there are any AFI fans here? I've been a fan of them since I was 8 (now 23) and have been to 5 of their shows. How long have you been a fan? How did you get into them? How many of their concerts have you been to? Favorite album? Song? Are you a part of the Fall Children-AFI Fans Facebook group?

AFI is a rad band, they started out as punk during the 90's and as the years went by they became more of a rock band than punk. I would recommend listening to their Sing The Sorrow album if you're curious, that or Black Sails In The Sunset. :)

I've heard of them, but I haven't listened to them much. My tastes run more in the direction of bands like In This Moment and Within Temptation and Nightwish. I did enjoy what I've heard though.

I love Nightwish! Have you listened to Lacuna Coil?

I have! Not in a while though. They're more for summer holidays when I have time to really jam out to their music.
