Rumi and Nizami. Also Nasimi. Nasimi says: two worlds can fit into me, but I cannot fit into this world. I think it is deep

Carlos Drummond de Andrade is my favorite poet.
"It's ugly. But it's a flower. It pierced through the asphalt, the boredom, the disgust and the hatred"

My favourite poet is Danez Smith. They write with such honesty and very subtly add humor into the mix. It's always a delight to read one of their poems.

My favorite poet at the moment has to be Robert Frost. His poem "Tuft of Flowers" speaks to me. I am obsessed with nature and his poetry gives a voice to nature. The connection that he has as he follows the butterfly and then the statement about us never truly being alone is breathtaking! I sincerely suggest reading Robert Frost!

Rumi, he speaks to the soul and the subject of his poems is the most relatable to me.
"Intelligence is the feast, not bread and roast meat."

"Dear one,
There is a way from your heart to my heart,
And there is an awareness in my heart because of seeking it."

Bukowski, because he is too real and subtle. And primarily, because of 2 of his poems that are just powerful: Bluebird and The Genius of the Crowd.
"There's a bluebird in my heart that wants to get out.
But I'm too tough for him.
.....
But I'm too clever, I only let him out at night
Sometimes
When everybody's asleep.

I say, I know that you're there
So don't be sad
Then I put him back
But he's singing a little in there, I haven't quite let him die.

And we sleep together like that with our secret pact
And it's nice enough to make a man weep
But I don't weep
Do you? "
