The modern Chinese songs have the same melody as those of Western songs. . . just done in Chinese language. . .

I love the sweet melody of japanese music not chinese let me give you an example of japanese music that I was so fond of..

Jingwing,

What part of China are you from? My wife is from Hong Kong, and I've made several trips back there. We've only made one trip to mainland China, though, spending about three weeks there last summer. We were there, actually, when the earthquake hit and were in Beijing for the official day of mourning.
