I am not a very big fan of a lot of today's music, but I am able to get into some songs if they have a poetic element. I find artists like Sabrina Claudio to be very poetic and I can appreciate her music.

The most poetic modern artist that comes to mind, personally, is J.I.D.

His lyrics not only have depth & meaning, but the way he executes the analogies and one-liners is pretty remarkable.

I see Billie Eilish as a very poetic artist. The way she construed her songs speaks something. After all, every artist is lyrical on their own as music is an art of poetry as well.

Tanerelle, Mitski, Hozier, Aurora, Anaïs Mitchelle, Labrinth, Sufjan Stevens, Iniko, Yuele, Taeko Onuki, fka twigs, and Riit all come to mind!

I actually J. Cole is very poetic. His lyrics are deep and thoughts provoking. Kendrick Lamar is also poetic with his wordplays

I think Taylor swift is a very poetic artist.

I consider Lana Del Rey to be very poetic.I fascinated by her song ,Million Dollar Man.She questions why her heart is broke even when the guy looks like a millionaire.

There's isn't any better artist to put at the top than J. Cole. His lyrics are topnotch.
