1. What do you do when you aren't writing?
When I'm not writing, you'll often find me out on the Pinellas Trail near my home in Palm Harbor, FL. I'm an avid bike rider, and cycling is a daily routine for me when I'm not conducting training sessions. The trail offers a perfect escape, providing a refreshing break and a source of inspiration for my writing.
2. Who in your life has been the biggest influence?
My parents, Archie W. Luper and Francile J. Luper, have been my biggest influences. Here is an excerpt from my book dedication that encapsulates their impact:
DEDICATION
To my beloved parents, Archie W. Luper and Francile J. Luper.
This book is dedicated to you both, with boundless love and profound gratitude. You were the guiding light and the always positive cheerleaders in my life, illuminating the path towards a life of significance, purpose, and continuous growth.
From the earliest days, you instilled in me the importance of being a student of history, a testament to your unwavering belief that understanding the past is the key to shaping a better future. Your examples, stories, and wisdom ignited my passion for knowledge, teaching me that the lessons of the past are invaluable guides on this journey called life.
Your commitment to writing, training, and personal development has been an endless source of inspiration. Your example showed me the power of words and the ability to shape and transform ourselves and the world around us. Your dedication to professional growth and the tireless effort you've invested in honing your skills have taught me the significance of continuous improvement.
Above all, you demonstrated the importance of making a difference in the lives of those around you. Your kindness, compassion, and boundless generosity touched countless hearts, including mine. You showed me that the true measure of a well-lived life is the positive impact it leaves on others; for that, I am forever grateful.
As I embark on this journey through the pages of this, my first book, I carry with me the lessons and values you imparted. I dedicate these words to you, my cherished parents, as a small token of appreciation for all you gave me. May this book serve as a reflection of the remarkable legacy you created, and may it inspire others to lead lives of meaning, continuous learning, and as Robert Ingersoll said, and a purpose for which you have motivated me to live by, “We rise by lifting others.”
3. Let's discuss your book Heart and Harmony. How did the idea for the book come about?
Songs and singing are universal languages that transcend cultures and borders. I wanted to capture the essence of the 50 most iconic singers, both male and female, and their profound impact on music and the world. The idea was to create a poetic homage to these legendary voices that have filled our lives with melodies that soothe, inspire, and transcend.
4. Before the poems, you give information about the singer. How did you do your research?
My research involved extensive internet searches and utilizing ChatGPT to ensure accuracy. I also received valuable feedback from my Book Launch Team and their initial reviews of the manuscript. This collaborative effort helped refine the content and verify the details presented about each singer.
5. How did you choose which singers to include?
Choosing the singers was a thorough process. I researched various sources, including Rolling Stone Magazine, Smoothradio, Audiocaptain, AI/ChatGPT search results, and my personal preferences. I created a spreadsheet with each source's top 50 male and female singers, and then I tallied the most frequently mentioned names across all sources. This method ensured that I included the most popular and influential singers, with an equal representation of male and female artists.
6. Which chapter/singer was your favorite?
I genuinely enjoyed writing about all the singers included in the book. Each chapter offered rich history and fascinating stories about their backgrounds, upbringing, family, and significant career events. It was a rewarding experience to delve into the lives of these iconic figures and share their journeys with readers.
7. Was there anyone that you didn't get to include that you wish you could have?
I am very confident in the 50 singers I included based on the comprehensive selection process. While there are many incredible artists out there, the ones chosen represent a balanced and diverse group of legendary singers who have left an indelible mark on music history.

I like to end with fun questions.
9. What's your favorite music to listen to?
I love a wide range of music, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be classic rock. There's something timeless about the energy and emotion in bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and The Rolling Stones. Their music has a way of resonating with different generations, capturing both the spirit of their time and universal themes that anyone can relate to.
10. What's your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is rudeness. It bothers me when people aren't considerate of others, whether it's in traffic, in line at a store, or in conversations. I believe a little kindness and respect can go a long way in making our everyday interactions much more pleasant and meaningful.
11. What's your favorite day of the week?
My favorite day of the week is Saturday. It's a day when I can take a break from my busy schedule, spend time doing what I love, like biking or writing, and enjoy the company of family and friends. Saturdays feel like a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, offering a chance to recharge and make great memories.
12. What makes you laugh?
I love a good comedy show or movie. Shows like "The Office" or movies by comedians like Robin Williams always get me laughing. One of my favorite comedians in Brian Regan. I also find joy in the little humorous moments in everyday life – a clever joke from a friend, a funny pet video, or a playful exchange with family. Laughter is such a wonderful way to connect with others and lighten the mood.
