1. What's your writing environment like?

Just me and my laptop. Anywhere.

2. How do you start a book? Is it an idea that pops into your head? A dream? An outline?

It starts with a dream. Then after expanding on the premise and figuring out the story, only then do I sit and start writing. Tip: Never start at the beginning. Start somewhere then expand from there.

3. Let's discuss Love Again, Love for Them. How would you classify this book in just a few words?

It's a drama about love and loss.

4. Is there any part of yourself in any of your characters?

Every character is a part of me and everyone I know—just pieces of each personality and no one in particular.

5. What did you find most difficult about the writing of the book?

Editing. Always the editing. Cutting out parts of a book—whole chapters—makes you want to not finish.

6. The reviewer mentions a theme of second chances. Do you believe in second chances?

Yes and being open to receiving them.

7. What messages did you want to portray through your novel?

There are different kinds of love. People can love again. It won't be the same. Sometimes people find a different kind of love and acceptance. Unfortunately, life is not fair.

8. What's next for you? Are you working on any more books?

I have five others completed.

I like to end with fun questions.

9. What literary character would you most want to share a meal with?

Unfortunately, I have read way too many books to make a choice. But, I did meet Ray Bradbury, an American treasure, and one of my favorite all-time authors, twice.

10. If you had to choose, would you rather always be hot or cold?

Hot.

11. What's your favorite beverage?

Gingerbread chai oat milk lattes.

12. If they made a movie of your life, who would play you?

Someone much better looking than me!!!!
A book is a dream you hold in your hands.

Thank you for an interesting interview. I enjoyed your comments about
loss and different kinds of love. I too believe in second chances and even third chances. My third husband and I have been happily married for forty years. I was open to the opportunity to experience love again, and it has worked out well for me.

why would the interviewee like to be hot and what exactly is gingerbread chai. I'm from Kenya and for us chai is tea and i think such a word exists in India and even Russia!! Though not exactly sure.Chai is a great beverage here in kenya, it is a must have especially in the morning. If you didn't have it, you felt like you didn't have breakfast
