What was your overall opinion of Burn Zones? What was your favorite part? Will you recommend the book to others? Why or why not?

I really enjoyed this book. The author did a great job of telling his story in an engaging way that kept my interest all the way through. If you are struggling, this book is a good source of inspiration.

I haven't read it yet, but from the interview with him and the book review, it seems that this book is about someone who doesn't give up easily, and sets high standards for themselves. I don't usually read much autobiographies, but I might just give this one a try.

I would definitely give this one a try. It reads a lot like a story rather than just stating facts like some biographies do. It was remarkable to me the size of the witch hunt he was put through and yet he still recovered. Many people would have broken under the pressure I think.

I found this book really intriguing. I also will agree it a bit like a story then it is a biography.

This was a very engaging book. It didn't seem like a biography, instead it seemed like an original story, and it was a very intriguing and inspiring book.

It's clear that this is the story of a person remarkable for his ambition, perseverance, and business acumen. I was particularly interested by Newbery's account of his career as a professional bicycle racer. The tactical, physiological, and psychological considerations were fascinating.

Equally engaging was his seemingly simple strategy for rescuing underwater home owners by buying their mortgages reconfiguring them at current market value, and then selling their houses back to them. The whole device seemed too altruistic to be profitable, but Newbery made money at the same time that he helped others.

My only reservations about the book are that it could have been more professionally written and polished. The reading became tedious at those points where the author waxed a little too sentimental and long winded about his emotional responses to tragedy and adversity. That said, the writing if not of high literary quality, was adequate for telling the story of a fine human being's creative life adventure.

I think this is a really great book.

Despite being non-fiction, I enjoyed reading it very much. It somehow still managed to be a page-turner.

From reading this I can tell Jorge is an inspiring person and thus the book itself is very inspiring.

I absolutely give this book a 4 out of 4.

After reading Burn Zones, I thought it was an interesting and engaging story. I agree with Scott, Mr. Newberry is an inspiring person. To have been so close to going bankrupt, but did not is amazing after all he had been through. I know a couple of people who went bankrupt and it doesn't seem like an easy decision to make.

I also appreciate the drive that Newberry seems to have had his entire life. It's inspiring how he did not give up really at any point in his life. Funny enough I was reading Achieve Your Dreams while reading Burn Zones and it's amazing how they related to each other so well!

There were a couple of parts that either went over my head or I wasn't interested in, so I became confused when trying to relay some of those parts to my husband. It might have been partly because I don't have much background knowledge in real estate, buying and selling property, etc. Aside from this, I really enjoyed it! Thank you Mr. Newberry for sharing your story!

This is such an inspirational story! It tells us that hard work does pay off. If we fall down seven times, stand up eight. Overcome adversity in life and never ever give up!

I believe that it's an interesting story, I did not get bored at all. It is as wrll inspiring and it got me a little motivated as well I read the interview too!

Haven't read the book, but it sounds like an inspiring story, and I enjoyed the author interview elsewhere on the site.

The interview was interesting! Oh wait, I shouldn't say that. My bias and all! Mwhahaha.
I still haven't read this yet! Grrr! But I have heard nothing but good things from everyone I know who has already read it!
