I often struggle with keeping track of dates and times in the stories I read. However, your mention of this book's skillful handling of date placement suggests that it could serve as an excellent training tool for improving my ability to follow and remember dates within a narrative. This makes it an enticing choice for enhancing my date-tracking skills.
I believe in something greater than myself.

This is a good review but I honestly feel it struggles in expressing the flow of one idea to the next . True friendship is a valuable commodity and perhaps this will be enough to capture a certain audience's interest to engage the book further.
The true quality of friendship between Celia and Maite appears to be a very strong point.

I wish there was more suspenseful information pertaining to the investigation mentioned, in order to tease at a potential reader's curiosity.

It is good to note that the character portrayal by the author is excellent and that there is also no spanish translations provided in cases where the language is used, like in the conversation on page 70.

"Sonora Pass" by Jaime Olmos tells the story of a reunion in Montreal in 1995. Esteban will meet his old friends Raul and Jonah and together they formed a band. I like how the author thought-out the characters in the book because they seem authentic, just like their emotions.

Today's BOTD is a graphic novel filled w/mystery & suspense. Readers who enjoy twists, turns, & unpredictable endings will definitely want to give this one a try. I'm looking forward to learning how the two mysteries overlap & who the suspects are. Thank you! :-)

Friendship is important in anyone's life. Life is empty without friendship. I think this book showcases the true meaning of friendship through short stories and through acts of friendship between various characters. Jonah seems like a true friend. He is helpful and is always there for his friends. He even takes part in the investigation to help Esteban. Celia causes a rift because she dated two men at the same time. I think in the '90's, consensual polygamy was frowned upon. These days it is so common. Maybe if it was common, I wonder what the response of Rodrigo and Esteban's would have been? Would Celia really cheat then? Also, it would have been great if the author provided the English translation as well. Decent review.

This graphic novel about friendship teaches the beauty of developing friendships over time: loyalty, service, support, trust. Another plus is the image of each character and how well they have been portrayed in the book.

I've not read a graphic novel before. I think I could like it but I struggled to view it on my phone which is where I read most of my books. The text was too small. The pictures contributed to telling the story.

"Friendship is vital to our progress in life" the theme of this book emphasizes the significance of friendship in our lives. It highlights the importance of defining and understanding what true friendship is, and how it can bring love and support during challenging times. The example of the friendship between Celia and Maite is used to illustrate the value of a good friendship

I'm not sure if this review sold me on wanting to read the book, however, there are some areas of interest. I like any Friendship reunion storyline. While most characters stay close, some break away from one or more of the group members. Those reasons always come to light when you have a good old-fashioned reunion.

This sounds like a nice book about friendship and what things can be done to maintain it. Besides this is my first graphic novel, so it will be really exciting to read it. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting graphic novel mystery following the death of a band member, Celia. Afterwards, an issue occurs that allegedly Cumpukore Company stole software from Candix Company. Jonathan, a former band member, must investigate the theft and the primary suspect is Esteban, another band member and primary suspect in Celia's murder. Will Jonathan solve both mysteries, the murder and the theft? It might be worth a second look. Well done.
