You two are the best! I typically enjoy YA, fantasy, Dystopian, contemporary, and some children's the most.

So, from the list you two gave, I am interested in:
* The Apocalypse of Elena Mendoza by Shaun David Hutchinson
* Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty
* The Diviners by Libba Bray
* White Stag by Kara Barbieri (NetGalley has free e-copies available)

I agree, I would also read a Stephen King novel, if it wasn't too scary. :?

I am fine with any of those or all. :)

I am not a member of NetGalley, so I can only get White Stag when it comes out.

Cool!

I see. So, maybe we'll put a hold on White Stag, then.

I'm good to read the other three, as well. I put a hold on both The Apocalypse of Elena Mendoza and The Diviners at my library. I'm next to get the book for both, so hopefully won't be too long. I can let you know when they come in.

I might actually have to wait for Nine Perfect Strangers a bit, as I didn't realize my library doesn't have it as an e-book yet.

If we wanted to started a book now, I would also give Norma by Sofi Oksanen a try. It doesn't look like it has strong ratings, but I really like the premise. It's available right now at my library, so I got the e-book in case you'd like to start it soon. :)

I am fine starting with Norma, but I would like to finish my current book before starting it. Let's see what Gravy says. :)

That sounds good to me. I'm reading a couple of books right now anyway, so I don't mind waiting some. :)

Both waiting a bit and reading Norma works for me. (Especially as I had to reorder from Amazon (had it ordered but the order fell through) and I won't have it for a little while. :confusion-waiting: )

Hm...That one does seem interesting. :eusa-think:

The Diviners by Libba Bray just became available for me. Do you have any interest in starting that one or are you still working through your other book?

I hope to finish my current book in a couple of days. After that, I will be glad to start "The Diviners". :)
This is the first book in this series, so you may want to get the second book as well. There are two books so far.

Nice, I'm excited! I'll keep my eyes peeled for a new topic to begin reading and discussing. :)
I borrowed the second one, as well. :tiphat:
